MEIS / SEIS

Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) under Foreign Trade Policy of India (FTP2015-20) is one of the two schemes introduced in Foreign Trade Policy of India2015-20, as a part of Exports from India Scheme.
The Duty credit scrips are granted as rewards under MEIS. This scrip is freely transferable and used to pay the custom duties, excise duties & Payments of services Tax.
